ABSTRACT
Value chain mapping of paddy in Nalgonda district is done to track the flow paddy produced by farmers through various channels undergoing value addition and reaching the ultimate consumers. Accordingly mapping of the value chain is done considering the core processes, actors and the product flows. The core processes involved include, Production of paddy, primary movement of the produce, processing, secondary movement of the products and by products. The various value chain actors included input suppliers, producers, commission agents / traders, processors, FCI, wholesalers, retailers.
