Dr. Prince

Dr. Prince had completed his Ph.D. in 2018 in Agriculture- Horticulture. Before pursuing Ph.D., he completed his Masters in Horticulture in 2012. He specializes in Floriculture and Landscape Architecture. His oral presentation on “Influence of planting time and spacing on bulb production characteristics of tuberose under field experiment” adjudged second and appreciated at National conference on Climate Change and Agricultural Production held at Bihar Agricultural University, Bihar in 2017. He started his career during 2018 as Assistant Professor, Horticulture at the Faculty of Agriculture, PDM University, Bahadurgarh. He won the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from Dr. Ram Avtar Shiksha Samiti at Lucknow University, Lucknow in 2018 and the Young Horticulturist Award from Agro Environmental Development Society (AEDS), Uttar Pradesh in 2019. At present, he is serving as Technical Assistant at the Department of Seed Science and Technology, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar (Haryana). Dr. Prince actively engaged in research and has, so far, actively associated with breeder seed production and their processing and packaging. Nursery management, plant propagation and production system management are his area of interest. He has authored several book chapters on basic horticulture, ornamental & medicinal plants and on floricultural crops. Many research papers, articles, book chapters training manual etc. are in his credit. He had actively participated in many National and International conferences and presented papers. He is the Editorial Board member in renowned journals and also serving as a reviewer for reputed journals. As a man of peer researcher he is a dedicated fellow in the field of horticulture.
