Dr. P. P. Sharma

Dr. Pramod Parsharam Sharma has awarded Ph. D. in the subject of Botany from Pune University, Pune, India in 1998. For this research work he has worked in Botanical Survey of India, Western Circle, Pune from 1994 to 1998. In further academic endeavors, for Postdoctoral Fellowship he worked in National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, UP, India from 1999 to 2002. For second postdoctoral fellowship he worked in Agarkar Research Institute, Pune, India. Afterwards, he joined Higher Education services as an Assistant Professor in 2004 onwards. At present he is serving as Principal of Indraraj Arts, commerce and Science College, located at Sillod, Aurangabad, India. He is also nominated as BOS member in the subject Botany and member of IPR Cell of Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad.

          His 100+ research papers are published in various reputed journals. He is having 5 books of Botany to his credit. Out of these, one book entitled "Ethnobotany of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman (UT)" is published by Botanical Survey of India, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India in 2001. He has been awarded as FES (Fellow) by Ethnobotanical Society, Lucknow and FAPT by Association for Plant Taxonomists, Dehradun. 9 Research Students have been awarded Ph.D. degree in Botany under his able guidance. He has delivered many lectures as a resource person in several National and International Seminars in India as well as abroad.
