Dr. Hemangiben D. Mehta

Dr. Hemangi D. Mehta had completed her Ph.D. in 2011 in Women Empowerment from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. Since 2013 she is working as an assistant professor / subject matter specialist in the Home Science Department of Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, India. From March 2013 to July 2017 she worked as an assistant professor in Polytechnic in Home Science. During that tenure she has also given contribution to act as a program officer in the National Service Scheme, which is an initiative by the Government of India. She has also guided 10 girl students to pursue the research project for their diploma in home science. Currently she is working as a subject matter specialist at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Morbi which is a new venture of the Junagadh Agricultural University established in 2016 by the Government of India. Along with her regular work she is also focused for the development of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Morbi.

          She is an author of around 27 international research papers, 15 national papers, and 51 articles which has been published by different journals, magazines, and newspapers. Such work has also been covered under approx. 55 news coverage. She is also an author of 3 books from which 2 books were published to international level whereas 1 book was published at national level. She has arranged and delivered more than 65 conferences, webinars, and seminars.
