Dr. Dinesh Chandra Naithani

Dr. Dinesh Chandra Naithani completed his Ph.D. in 2019 in Horticulture (Fruit Science) from Department of Horticulture, School of Agriculture and Allied Science, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand, India. Before pursuing Ph.D. he completed his Bachelor and Masters in Horticulture in 2010 and 2013, respectively, from Department of Horticulture, School of Agriculture and Allied Science, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (A Central University), Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand, India.  He got merit certificate (University topper) for outstanding performance in his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. His specialization is in Fruit Science especially in Propagation and Nursery Management of fruit as well as other horticultural crops. He joined as Guest Faculty (Lecturer) in the Department of Horticulture, H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal on September 1, 2013. After that he joined Doon Business School, Dehradun, Uttarkhand as Assistant Professor (Agriculture) on August 1, 2019. Now, presently he is working as Senior Research Fellow (S.R.F.) at Plant Pathology Division, College of Forestry, Ranichauri, Tehri Garhwal, V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Uttarakhand, India. He is the author and co-author of 17 peer-reviewed (national and international) journal articles, 2 popular articles and 1 pamphlet. His total professional experience (including Ph.D.) is more than 6 years.
